Chetana’s Ramprasad Khandelwal and Chetana’s Institute of Management and Research celebrates its 15th year of KCS competition on 23rd Feb 2008. KCS is an annual national level case study competition which is well known for its real world case studies that require in-depth analysis, research and presentation.

The theme for KCS 2008 is “Forging the Future with Steel” The steel industry is highly cyclical. It is at the peak of its cycle today and going through a phase of consolidation. We have recently seen two major M&A’s i.e. Arcelor – Mittal and Tata – Corus. These two deals have heated up the scenario at the core and this is just the beginning of what we still have to see at the global and national level.
